What else changes for visitors

Course discounts and wait waivers often apply only to residents. In Florida, residents who finish a course skip the 3-day wait; visitors do not.

Nevada has no waiting period and a license fee of $102, which is why so many couples travel there. Check the no-waiting-period states if timing matters.
